Sunday May 14th 2023 – Open day, restored water mill with Blacksmith workshop and tea room.
Eight cars met at the White Horse and set of for a 23 mile run through nice countryside to the end venue. Tops were down and the sun shone for the rest of the day.
Around 50 various classic cars and a few motorcycles were on display. Also the blacksmith was demonstrating his skills. You could walk around inside the working water mill which was grinding corn to make flour. Hot and cold food was available and the walk around the garden and bridges crossing the stream was very pleasant with seating everywhere.
Thanks to Derek for organising another great event.
Derek also showed us the 1st draft for our 2024 Ratae which is already booked to end at Staffold Barn Railway, Sunday 9th June.
